The Pancake Kitchen

The pancakes are freshly prepared at the time you have ordered your pancake. Margaret has her own “secret” pancake recipe, using fresh local ingredients, such as local fresh eggs from a farm.

There is an extensive Pancake Menu , with Sweet and also Savoury toppings. All topping-idea’s are created by Margaret. We pay much attention to the freshness of the Pancake-toppings, everything is prepared at the time the pancake is cooked and they are well decorated with the most beautiful ingredients.

There is a good selection on pancake-toppings which are suitable for vegetarians and there are Gluten and Wheat-free pancakes available on request, made out of Buckwheat-flour.

The artistic and well decorated pancake-toppings are also related to the oil-paintings displayed in the restaurant, another creative side from the Cook.

Besides the Pancakes there is also Dutch Apple-pie available, which is home-baked using a traditional recipe from Holland, with cinnamon and sugar. There are homemade scones as well, deliciously served with jam and freshly whipped creammmm.

But… why not start with a lovely homemade Soup of the day... Our soup is always vegetable-based and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Our soup is served with homebaked artisan local bread, from "The Breadcrumb" Kenmare. There is also glutenfree bread available on request.
